Phil Rudd, born Phillip Hugh Norman Witschke Rudzevecuis on May 19, 1954 in Melbourne, Australia, is best known as the drummer for the Australian hard rock band, AC/DC (1975-1983, 1994-2015).
Rudd was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, along with the other members of AC/DC, in 2003.
In 2011, Phil Rudd purchased a marina restaurant at Bridge Marina in Tauranga, where he resides. He named the venue, Phil's Place, where he planned to serve seafood and top-quality steak.
