King, Steven Curtis Chapman, Eric Clapton, Johnny Hallyday, Jenifer, Steve Winwood, Les Paul, Ashlee Simpson, LeAnn Rimes, Mylène Farmer, Letters to Cleo, Vanessa Carlton, Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga, Tyler Bryant, and Steve Lukather.
Abe, son of legendary jazz bassist Abraham Laboriel, Sr., began playing the drums at the age of four.
He got his big break playing drums and touring with guitarist Steve Vai. Laboriel later toured with Seal, and in doing so, was seen by numerous record producers around LA, which got him into the studio scene and doing a lot of session work. While touring for a short time with K.D. Lang, Sting saw him play — leading Laboriel to join Sting's touring band. His touring with Lang also led to him connecting, and later playing, with Paul McCartney... including McCartney's appearance during the halftime of Super Bowl XXXIX. Abe also toured and recorded with former Menudo member, Robi Draco Rosa, on his album Vagabundo.
In September 2013, Abe released Naked, his first solo album — with his one-man-band, Sprinkle.
