BIOGRAPHY
Al Foster, born January 18, 1943 in Richmond, Virginia, is an American jazz drummer. best known for his drumming with Miles Davis's large funk fusion group (1972-1985).
Al Foster has toured extensively with Herbie Hancock, Sonny Rollins, and Joe Henderson.
Now in his 70s, Foster continues to perform with his own band.
