BIOGRAPHY
Billy Cobham, born William C. Cobham on May 16, 1944 in Republic of Panama, is a Panamanian American jazz / fusion drummer, composer and bandleader, best known for his drumming with Mahavishnu Orchestra as well as his own solo albums.
Cobham has worked with the likes of Miles Davis, Horace Silver, Stanley Turrentine, Shirley Scott, George Benson, Brecker Brothers, John Abercrombie, John McLaughlin, George Duke, and numerous others.
Billy Cobham permanently relocated to Switzerland during the late 1970s.
