Garry Peterson

Garry Peterson, born Garry Denis Peterson on May 26, 1945 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is a Canadian-American drummer, best known for his work with The Guess Who (1965-present) and Bachman-Turner Overdrive aka BTO (1983-1986).

Peterson has played drums for The Guess Who since their inception and until their breakup in 1975. He continues to participate in reunions involving principal band members Randy Bachman, Jim Kale and Burton Cummings, and continues to perform with the band along with fellow-original member, bassist Jim Kale. He has played with the band longer than any other member.

Garry currently resides in Greensboro, North Carolina.
