My broken bionic ankle/leg is serving me well.   It's strong enough for me to  have problems with kicking the BD away from me while I play out.

It happened to me right at the beginning of my return to gigging, but I blamed that on lack of a legit drum rug.  I bought one with a stop block and all was well.  But at last night's gig, the venue makes you use their equipment.  It was a fairly big kit - with spurs digging into carpet.  You'd *Think* it wouldn't move.

But I kicked that sucker away from me all night.

The bionics are serving me well.                ;)

The Bionic Ankle got a good workout this past weekend.

A double header - one 4 1/2 hour gig outdoors, followed by
another 3 1/2 hour gig indoors the following day.

The indoor gig contained an extended - about 15 minutes worth - version of an improvised "I Will Survive"   8)  with me really kicking the snot out of my bass drum.

God bless the surgeons who fixed me.

Coincidence?  I think NOT.

You have me laughing out loud here.   I didn't even catch that.

LOL, me too...

It's great to hear that the fix is holding up well.  Who needs a titanium pedal when you got a bionic ankle..

Yeah - it has been a pretty amazing journey for me.

I'm very grateful.

So how many pre-set BD patterns do you have programmed in that thing now?
