Title: Thoughts about the LP one handed triangle
Post by: Jarmo Lahtiranta on December 28, 2010, 01:56 PM
I just got home with the one handed triangle and tried it out with some music. I think that the sound is pretty raw without a band, but with some music (and earplugs) it evens out nicely. I have to say that keeping time is a lot harder than I thought. The instrument looks like it would be similar to play as any shaker, but the feel is quite different at least to me. I need to listen to the sound really carefully and play a lot in advance to get the timing right...

It'll take some learning just as any new instrument, but I think it will be a great add to my arsenal. Do any others have it? How's your experience? Any tips on good technique?
