That whole "Great Attractor" thing is quite interesting to read about. These universal mysteries drive me nuts and I wonder about them non-stop. Probably the biggest example with me is black holes...I started wondering about those about 8 or 9 years ago and I've researched them time and time again.

That's amazing!  My kids and I just spent some time cruising through it.

There is a film called "Powers of Ten" that I saw as kid that has stuck with me all these years.  It was made in the late sixties or early seventies (I think) that shows something similar.  I originally saw it at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington DC.         OK I just checked and it is on YouTube (but I'm not savvy enought to post it here).
