2010 Five-Star Big Beat

The 4th Annual Five-Star Big Beat event which is being held on Sunday, November 7th this year.

There will be 15 cities across North American conducting Big Beat events - same date, same time - and linking together to play simultaneously; raising money for Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation and Cherish Our Children International.

In 2007, 438 drummers gathered and raised over $25,000 for Cherish Our Children International.

In 2008 nine cities joined together to host Big Beat events all on the same day and same time to create a new world record for the most drummers playing drumsets simultaneously in multi-cities.

In 2009, eleven cities are hosting Big Beat events in the United States and Canada. This international event raises money for The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation providing music instruments for children in undeserved schools. Money is also raised for Cherish Our Children International for educational programs for students whose parents are incarcerated.
