Here's my humble kit

1979 Yamaha 9000 series (Made in Taiwan) Birch & Camelia.
BD 14x24
TT  10x13
TT  11x14
FT  16x18
All in ORIGINAL Vintage Finish 8)

Snare Drums:
Yamaha 5.5x14 Steel
Ludwig Coliseum 8x14 Birch w/chrome wrap

Yamaha 900 series hardware and Gibraltor rack.
DW 5000 single chain kick pedal
Zildgian 22" medium ride (circa 1970)
Zildjian K 18" medium ride/crash
Zildjian K 16" medium crash
Ludwig (by Paiste) piece of crap and cracked 14" crash (one of my favorites for it's truly cheesy sound) ;D

Great drums, but man, do they ever take up a lot of space for a basic set.  ::) Would love to find a matching 22" BD and 12" and 16" tom for this set.
I sometimes think about converting the 18" tom to a bass drum, but it's got the deepest resonant sound I've ever heard outside a tymp. Can't bring myself to make a mediocre BD out of a great tom. :P

nullify_drummer

well i have 2 kits combined. one is a rogers from the 50's and one is a bradley from the 60's both dressed in black and in GREAT!!! condition. and a set of roto toms

from left to right on my stool

Toms:
6,8,10,12,13,13,14,16,16,

Snares:
14x 5 1/2, 14x 6, (soon to have a 13x 3)

Bass:
20 (left), 22 (right)

Cymbals: all zildjian zbt's but my hats they're camber

10 splash(its an A), 14 hats, 14 crash, 16 crash, 18 crash/ride with a 10 splash stacked on top, 20 ride, 16 rock crash

i love the sound and feel of 2 independant basses, and my hi hats are reversed, ex. top cymbal is on the bottom and bottom is on the top. sounds better to me.  and i just reciently suspended my floor toms and i want to get 2 more floor toms 18 20(might have to convert a bass to it.

:D Usually I don't like showing off with my gear (because there's like nothing to show off with) but hey why not:

The kits I play most are:

1. My Pearl Rhythm Traveler (at home - for practising; I also take it to small gigs)

2. A Yamaha Stage Custom kit (10"; 12"; 14" & 16" toms) in black. With a great sounding Pearl Signature Chad Smith snare (which I recently bought and really love) I use it in the band practise studio.

Cymbal set-up differs dependig of the kit I use, but mainly I put on:

Paiste 802 20" Heavy ride
Paiste 802 14" Hi-hats
Paiste 802 16" China
Paiste 802 16" Crash
Paiste 802 18" Crash
Paiste Alpha 18" Power Crash
Paiste 2002 12" Splash
Paiste Signature 10" Splash

Cheers,

Erwtje

Ive got the total newbie kit...Pearl Forums and a Sabian B8 pack (HH, Ride, 14", 16" crashes), Pacific Bass Pedal, Tama HH Stand...probably going to get one of those Wuhan China, Splash packs soon....then a kit like Bleeder's  ;D love that color...anyway...need a bit more speed i think before i confuse myself with more things to hit...
and of course the names of my drums;
The Kick is Ringo,
John is the snare, 12" tom is....Dave, 13" tom, Buddy, and the floor tom will be....um....ok...Tom...
alright ill stop before i name the cymbals too....

macheteofodin

I just started playing drums, and I have a used kit.  The "brand" is called Thor.  I never heard of this brand, but whatever.  If it sounds good, it sounds good.

It is an 8 piece, but I only have 5 set up, because there is no point in setting up 8 if I can't play 5.  Hell, I'd actually be best off with just a snare, a bass drum, and the Hi-Hats at this point.

Drums:
5 Toms (8", 10", 12", 13", and 16")
1 Snare (14") which is a Ludwig (not sure which model)
2 Bass Drums (22")

What I have setup:
3 Toms (10", 13", 16"), the Snare and one Bass drum.

Cymbals:
All Saludas.  They probably aren't the greatest sounding cymbals, but I personally like them.
20" Ride
18" Rock Crash
16" Rock Crash
13" Mist Hi-Hats
12" Voodoo China

I have the Ride, 18" Crash and the Hi-Hats setup right now.

The hardware is all Pearl.

guerrillawar
