SINep

I just bought a Mapex M series Laquer kit for 699$
Im very happy with my kit.

SabianProSonix

Yeah but there like £700 in UK  :'(
i need to know if premier are worth buying, or if they sound good, cos the bearist shop that sells premier drums are miles away!

SINep

Cool, So is the Mapex M Series good? what does it play like? and is it strong?!

SINep

I like them alot.
Depnding on how you tune will determine how they sound and feel.

They are maple with an inner ply of basswood.
They arent too bright. and they arent dark.

SabianProSonix

its annoying though cos i want some really good cymbals to go with a nice kit, but i cant have both, i can either have a nice kit and rubbish cymbals, or brilliant cymbals and not so good drums!

i dont know what to buy out of..

Premier CABRIA LS
Yamaha Stage custom
Mapex V or M series
Pearl Export

what do you think is the best out of those kits?!

Dead Trooper

I'd choose either Yamaha Stage Customs or Pearl Exports. They have great quality, nice finishes, and some pretty good hardware too, for the price.

Yamaha's tom mount is great, better than Pearls.

My vote goes to Yamaha.
