Alan White - Oasis

Alan White, born May 26, 1972 in South London, England, is best known as the drummer of the English rock group, Oasis, from 1995 to 2004. To date he is the longest serving drummer in the band's history, appearing on four studio albums, two compilation albums and one live album during his tenure with Oasis.

White joined Oasis in May 1995 after the band's original drummer, Tony McCarroll, was let go. White left Oasis in early 2004 in somewhat unclear circumstances. He was replaced by Zak Starkey, drummer of The Who and son of legendary Beatles drummer, Ringo Starr.

In March 2007, the remaining members of Oasis paid White £348,000 to buy him out of their company, Definitely Maybe.
