Hey Kenny, thank you for understanding I wasn't putting down the music. More like professing my inability to to take in that kind of stuff.
Again, you, your drums, cymbals, and recording, sound great

Kenny Howard

Hey Ron,

Thanks again brother...I understand what you are saying and I wanted to share this too.

Hey guys, I just wanted to say how much I like the posts from you newcomers.  Klemen, I dig the multi-pedal work.  Aviv, I really like the grooves you posted.  And Kenny, I dig your fusiony stuff!  Welcome aboard guys!

I really enjoyed it, Kenny. Everything sounds great. What's the finish on the drums?

Ron Gerber

Once again, Kenny, great playing!

While at a jam in St. Pete I was approached by a guitar player who wanted me to play on a demo he was recording. The tracks had been laid but he wanted me to replace some of the drum tracks. He gave me a tape to prepare from only when I got to the studio he wanted me to play different songs than what I was to have prepared. A nerve wracking experience knowing I was being recorded yet had no idea where the music was heading. As it turned out on this track it was the same pattern repeated but... I didn't know that at the time. I only wish I had more fusion in my background to "speak" from. I just cranked up the snare and forged ahead. It's the one and only time I heard or played the tune:

Here's a clip of our band last July for Canada Day. (July 1)  I had just re-joined this band after a four year absence and this was my second performance.  ::) Nothing spectacular, but I like the band members and I get paid to do it.  No complaints.   ;D

This is my first post on this forum but I have to say this forum looks way better than the other ones I was looking at earlier.  Much more relevant factual information.  I just learned, figured out a lot about new rudiments I need to learn by reading some posts, so thanks!!!

Here's a video of my bassist and I doing a drum and bass jam.  Theres a few parts were we lock into a really solid groove but its mostly improv.

Hey DC family!!!

Hope all is well.  I'm so uncomfortable posting videos of myself...but, I get asked all the time to share them, soooooo here's another.

This was shot at Penny Road with my Rock project Bellevue Suite on Feb 25th.  This is the solo segment of the show.

Hope you enjoy, I had a blast playing it.

Peace Love & Drums...

Hi cafe-ites

Hannah it's great to see you constantly improving.  I really enjoyed your drum solo at what appeared to be a club gig

I wanted to share a couple links of a nice afternoon gig I played with my band in Fayetnam NC.   Sorry for the lack of a windscreen.

These are the stave drums I built

When is the community solo again?  I absolutely am looking forward to being a part of that again this season.

Ok, I haven't been in the cafe in just about forever, but I'm still hanging in there.

I figured I'd post at least one whole song finally after almost 10 years.  This is my band Mudlark performing "One Way Out" with the obligatory drum solo at about 2:40.

Does anybody think anything?

Good to be back.
